Owen Ching and Will Bennett are good friends who have studied together for three years and share an interest in education. The idea for CalRobo came from their desire to create innovative classes to introduce young children to robotics. Mr. Ching, a tech enthusiast, developed an early interest in technology and engineering growing up with a father who designed video games. This developed into a passion which he has continued to pursue to this day, taking many engineering classes in middle and high school. He has integrated this interest into CalRobo and hopes to spread this passion to children. In his free time, you can find him tinkering with computers and electronics, playing basketball, practicing violin, or reading graphic novels.
