CalRobo currently features two different camps, our beginner camp and advanced camp. The beginner camp was designed for ages K-5 and focuses on the basics of engineering, with our students building basic robots of their own and coding them. In addition they will be introduced to tools like the soldering iron and circuit board, learning about the history behind the tools and electronics used. Our advanced camp is primarily designed for 6-8 graders and delves deeper into concepts introduced in our beginner camp, specifically coding. When they have completed the advanced course students will have a thorough understanding of programming, engineering, and design.
